What does my child need to bring to school?
Wild Hearts Warm Weather Gear List
Wild Hearts Cold Weather Gear List
Please talk to your child’s teacher about exact items needed for each classroom. Some teachers will request your child bring their own snack, others will have you assigned to a snack calendar in which each parent is assigned a day to bring snack for the whole class. Some teachers may also request that your child does not bring a bookbag, but rather stores their extra clothes at school. Toddlers who are learning to use the toilet will need diapers/pull-ups or multiple pair of thick cotton underwear they can easily mainpulate. Children should always bring a water bottle to school unless otherwise specified by the teacher.
Is there a way to contact other parents?
Transparent Classroom has a parent directory. We also have a Private Family Directory you can join to add your own information and see other parents’ information as well. This is optional, and you will need to request access with the email on your child’s file in order to view/edit.
How will I receive information regarding my child’s progress?
When you enroll, you will receive an invitation to join Transparent Classroom. This will allow you to track your child’s progress as the teacher updates their record. Teachers also share photos here! Teachers will also send a weekly email with any important classroom updates.
Who do I contact if I need help with my invoice?
You can contact us at info@thegardenmontessori.org with invoice or other financially-related questions.
Who do I contact if I need to update my child’s “approved adults” (people who can pick your child up from school)?
Please contact the director at your child’s campus AND your child’s classroom teacher(s) to notify them if a new adult will be picking your child up from school. We will need to update your child’s file to allow for a new approved adult. Anyone we have not met will need to bring their ID with them.
Can I volunteer at The Garden?
Yes! We have lots of volunteer opportunities available, both in-person or remote. Contact your child’s teacher to find out more.
