Our Montessori infant and parent class is a class for families, not a program for children alone. Parents and caregivers come with their child to learn how Montessori sees the first year of life, and how to bring that understanding home long before a child ever attends school.

We look closely at what is happening in the first eighteen months: movement, language, attachment, and the absorbent mind. Understanding the developmental picture helps parents recognize what their child is working on each day.

The home as a prepared environment

Simple, practical changes at home give an infant freedom of movement, order, and independence. We talk through sleeping, feeding, dressing, and play spaces, and how to adapt them as the child grows.

Observation and response

Montessori begins with watching. Families practice observing without interrupting, learning to read a child’s cues and to respond with calm, consistent care.

A community of families

Parents meet other families walking the same first year. The class is a place to ask questions, share what is working, and find support from guides and from one another.
