Toddlers are sensorial explorers, building the foundations of trust, movement, language, and independence. Our Toddler Community is calm, ordered, and home-like, with child-sized materials, purposeful work, and gentle rhythms that help children begin to belong beyond a parent’s arms.

Toddlers practice real, useful work each day: pouring water, washing dishes, sweeping floors, carrying baskets, watering plants, gathering from the garden, and helping care for animals and outdoor spaces. These small acts build coordination, confidence, and independence.

Toddlers are absorbing language every day. We support this sensitive period with books, picture cards, replicas, real objects, music, fingerplays, poems, and rich conversation that helps children name and understand their world.

Movement is part of the toddler’s work. Children move freely indoors and out, with daily chances to climb, balance, carry, stretch, run, and challenge their growing bodies with care.

Toddlers feel secure when the day has a steady shape. Simple routines, unhurried transitions, familiar songs, shared meals, rest, outdoor time, and repeated work help children know what to expect and begin to trust the classroom as their own.
“The child who has felt a strong love for his surroundings and for all living creatures, who has discovered joy and enthusiasm in work, gives us reason to hope.
